Overview of the B.Sc Nursing 2nd Year Syllabus

Foundation knowledge: The first year is focused on establishing fundamental knowledge through study of anatomy, physiology, and nursing sciences. In the second year we learn to practice nursing care on the sick patient. Also, the amount of workload is increased, as each semester lasts for 800 hours.

The B.Sc Nursing syllabus for the 2nd year is based on a credit and semester system. 1 theory credit will be considered as 1 hour per week, 1 lab credit will be considered as 2 hours per week, and 1 clinical credit will be considered as 4 hours. B.Sc Nursing is for 4 years divided into 8 semesters (as shown in our nursing course duration guide  for B.Sc Nursing vis-à-vis GNM & ANM).

If you are studying GNM instead, our  GNM nursing subjects guide covers that course year by year.
